If you are participating in a local/national triathlon, marathon or walkathon, we'd love to have you do so as a Race Towards a Cure team member. In the past, we've had people participate in 5Ks, 10Ks, marathons, triathlons, walkathons, bike races, rappelling, and much more - all while helping bring awareness to brain cancer and raising crucial funds for brain cancer research. All Race Towards a Cure team members will receive a dry-fit team shirt, training tips, and fundraising tips, and all team members will be assigned an ABC2 team staff contact. We can’t wait to have you join the team!
The 40th Marine Corps Marathon will take place on October 25, 2015. The 26.2 mile course, nicknamed "The Marathon of the Monuments" winds runners through the best parts of Arlington, VA and Washington, DC.
The MCM10K follows alongside the MCM for 6.2 miles through the streets of Arlington, VA and Washington, DC.

Honda LA Marathon: American Idol Winner David Cook, along with a team of runners, took on the Honda LA Marathon and, in doing so, raised nearly $73,000 for brain tumor research.
Kona Ironman World Championship: An 8-year brain tumor survivor and endurance athlete extraordinaire, BethAnn Telford, completed the Ironman World Championship in Kona while raising money for Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure and awareness about this devastating disease.
